Allen Mountain on 8/5
Completed a hike to Allen Mountain for my 41st High Peak. I was really apprehensive about this one due to the lengthy approach followed by a difficult climb on notoriously slippery terrain. However, this one wasnโt as bad as advertised, even when it started to rain as I left the summit. I descend very slowly and carefully in all conditions so the slide didnโt seem any more treacherous on the way down. Glad to have this one in the books.

Congrats! Thatโs a long one. Nearly broke a wrist in the red slime, so glad it didnโt give you any problems. What are you saving for last?
