Dix from Round Pond
Trail is in great shape. Minimal mud and just a few bugs. The slide was slick - some red slime on the right side. The trail from the slide to the summit is no joke - about 1500 get in elevation gain over 0.75 miles. Really windy today and quite a bit of blowdown on the return leg that wasnโt there on the way up. I was able to move most of it off the trail but there are 4 or 5 large trees across the trail that will need a trail crew with a saw to get them moved
