Poke-O-Moonshine & Silver Lake Mtn 8/8
With the heat and chance of thunderstorms today I decided on a couple shorter hikes today. We took the ranger trail out and back on Poke-O. The trails for both hikes were completely dry. Had some decent views, though limited from the smoke coming in from Canada. The fire tower on Poke -O was open due to having a steward present at the peak. On a previous hike there it was locked getting to the top. As always be safe, leave no trace, and happy hiking to all!!!
