Algonquin/Iroquois AV Lake Loop 6/26
Started this hike at 5:30 am. Some mud and wet rocks for the first couple of miles. For the most part the rock slabs heading to Alg were pretty dry. The hike over Boundary to Iroq was pretty muddy. The black flies made an appearance on the peak of Iroq. No wind for the most part on this day. The trek down to Av Lake was very wet. Basically hiking down a stream of water. At the bottom and heading toward Av lake expect more mud. It looks like more rain on Saturday so expect these conditions to get worse. Don’t recommended this route unless your are prepared and experienced. As always be safe, leave no trace, and happy hiking to all.
