Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Bald Peak sits along the East Trail from New Russia on the way to Rocky Peak Ridge and Giant. The standard outing is about 6.7 miles round trip and becomes more serious after Blueberry Cobbles, with steeper climbing and open ridge terrain leading toward Bald Peak. Expect a rugged, viewpoint-heavy hike that feels closer to High Peaks terrain than many shorter Champlain Valley routes.
