Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Bloomingdale Bog Trail follows an old railroad corridor through the wetland corridor between Saranac Lake and Bloomingdale. The primary segment is a 3.8-mile one-way, end-to-end route between the north and south parking areas with very little elevation gain. Hikers without a shuttle can use either end for a shorter out-and-back rather than committing to the full corridor.
