Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Blue Ledges is a classic Hudson Gorge Wilderness destination reached from Northwoods Club Road near Minerva. The hike follows a marked trail toward the northern rim of the Hudson Gorge, passing forest and pond-side terrain before ending near the river, cliffs, boulders, and a small sandy area. It is not a summit hike, but the scenery is dramatic because the destination sits directly in the Hudson River corridor. The route is generally moderate by distance and footing, with most of the appeal coming from the riverside setting and the distinctive ledges.
