Trail Overview
Broomstick Lake Trail is a short, approachable lake hike in Ferris Lake Wild Forest near Caroga. The first 0.8 mile runs from the Broomstick Lake Trail Parking Area to Broomstick Lake, with the route continuing another mile to Stewart Lake and farther to Third Lake. This makes Broomstick useful both as a quick pond style outing and as the first piece of a longer forest and lake route through the Canada Lake area, with simple parking access.
