Trail Overview
Cascade and Stephens Ponds are paired backcountry pond destinations near Blue Mountain Lake and Lake Durant. The hike uses a section of the Northville-Placid Trail, then splits toward Cascade Pond and Stephens Pond, both of which have lean-to settings and a classic central Adirondack pond feel.
