Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Catlin Bay is a short shoreline destination on Long Lake reached from the Tarbell Hill Road / Northville-Placid Trail area. The route follows an old road or trail corridor through forest to the bay, giving hikers a lower-effort way to experience the Long Lake section of the Northville-Placid Trail. The appeal is the quiet lake edge, camping and paddling context, and classic Long Lake shoreline scenery.
