Trail Overview
Chase Lake Trail is a Shaker Mountain Wild Forest hike from the end of Pinnacle Road to Chase Lake. The route runs 2.5 miles to the lake, making the standard out-and-back about 5.0 miles round trip. The route has a net descent on the way in, meaning hikers regain elevation on the return, and the lake has a lean-to and a quieter backcountry feel.
