Route Guidance
Trail Overview
The Chazy Highlands State Forest Trail is a short forest loop on the southeastern side of Chazy Lake. It is a simple, low-elevation hike suitable for an easy outing, especially compared with bigger Chazy Highlands objectives such as Lyon Mountain. The loop begins from the Wilfred King Road parking area and travels through DEC-managed state forest terrain near the lake. Keep the public description factual and avoid overstating views or destination features not supported by route information.
