Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Copper Rock Falls is a short roadside waterfall hike along Tooley Pond Road in the Grass River Wild Forest. The trail follows the South Branch Grass River, reaching Copper Rock Falls quickly and continuing past additional small cascades and rapids before ending near quieter flatwater. The route is easy, scenic, and well suited for hikers looking for a low-commitment waterfall stop rather than a long backcountry hike. The main cautions are wet rock, fast water, and Tooley Pond Road conditions, especially in winter or after heavy rain.
