Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Fawn Lake is a short, low-commitment lake hike near Speculator in Jessup River Wild Forest. The main path reaches the eastern shore after an easy woodland walk, making it a good choice when the goal is water, campsites, and a quiet forest setting rather than elevation gain. The route is unmarked but easy to follow, with a wide trail, trail register, and a junction where the left fork reaches the shore. Optional exploring continues toward the north end of the lake by the Willis Vly Trail.
