Trail Overview
Fishbrook Pond is a remote pond and backcountry camping destination in Lake George Wild Forest. The standard access follows the Bumps Pond route from Dacy Clearing, then continues beyond Bumps Pond to Fishbrook Pond. A longer 6.5-mile loop passes Bumps Pond and circles toward the Fishbrook Pond picnic and lean-to area. This is more demanding than Bumps Pond alone because of the added distance, climbing, and trail-network complexity, but it rewards hikers with a quieter pond setting and overnight potential.
