Trail Overview
G Lake is a small, low-commitment pond destination in the Ferris Lake Wild Forest near Piseco. The easy out-and-back is about 0.8 miles round trip, following a short walk to a uniquely shaped lake with primitive campsite access near the shore. This is not a long wilderness approach or summit hike; it is better framed as a quick forest walk to water, useful for casual hikers, families, campers, and anyone exploring the quieter Piseco-area trail network.
