Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Giant’s Washbowl is a small pond destination on the lower Giant Mountain trail system, reached from the Route 73/Chapel Pond side of the Giant Mountain Wilderness. It is much shorter than the full Giant Mountain hike, but it still feels connected to serious High Peaks terrain through rocky footing, forest, and nearby cliffs. Hikers use it as a quick scenic outing, a family-friendly pond objective, or the first piece of a longer Nubble, Roaring Brook, or Giant Mountain route. nearby.
