Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Goodman Mountain is a moderate, approachable summit hike just south of Tupper Lake and one of the three Tupper Lake Triad peaks. The trail was created by NYSDEC in 2014 and honors civil rights activist Andrew Goodman, with interpretive context at the trailhead. Hikers follow a gradual forest route that begins with an accessible first quarter-mile before continuing to open summit views over the surrounding lakes and mountains.
