Trail Overview

Goose Pond is a shorter pond hike in the Pharaoh Lake Wilderness, reached from the Crane Pond Road area. The route begins with a walk along Crane Pond Road, then turns onto the Goose Pond Trail after about 0.9 mile for a gentle foot-trail segment to the pond. Goose Pond Trail leaves Crane Pond Trail roughly 0.9 mile from its trailhead and continues 0.9 mile to the north shore, gaining about 140 feet. The hike is best framed as a simple pond outing with road-walk context and mild elevation change.
