Goose Pond is a shorter pond hike in the Pharaoh Lake Wilderness, reached from the Crane Pond Road area. The route begins with a walk along Crane Pond Road, then turns onto the Goose Pond Trail after about 0.9 mile for a gentle foot-trail segment to the pond. Goose Pond Trail leaves Crane Pond Trail roughly 0.9 mile from its trailhead and continues 0.9 mile to the north shore, gaining about 140 feet.
