Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Gull Lake is a scenic pond destination in the Black River Wild Forest, with a lean-to and shoreline views that make it a worthwhile backcountry stop. The local trail network includes the Gull Lake Trail, Gull Lake Connector Trail, and Gull Lake Lean-to Trail, with both a longer Bear Creek approach and a shorter Mill Creek Road approach. Because the route can change substantially depending on where hikers start, the destination focuses on the lake and supported access options rather than treating one metric as universally definitive.
