Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Harper Falls is a short waterfall hike in the Grass River Wild Forest, reached by a simple woodland trail from the Tooley Pond Road area. The route leads to the edge of a dramatic 60-foot waterfall on the North Branch of the Grasse River, where upper cascades narrow into a chute before the main drop. It is a low-commitment outing with enough payoff for families, casual hikers, and waterfall-focused exploring. Old stone walls near the falls add a historic detail tied to former mill activity in this corridor.
