Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Heaven Hill Trails is a multi-use Lake Placid trail system on Bear Cub Road, owned and maintained by the Uihlein Foundation. It is built for mellow walking, skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking, and easy family outings rather than a summit objective. The trail network mixes open fields, forest edges, old farm-road character, and broad High Peaks views with very little sustained climbing. Lake Placid identifies three main loops: Big Field, Old Orchard, and Bear Cub. The system works well as a flexible short hike, nature walk, dog walk, or low-key recovery outing close to town.
