Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Hopkins Mountain is a rewarding non-46er summit in the Giant Mountain Wilderness, with open rock views and several different approach options. The trail network offers routes from Mossy Cascade, Ranney, and Beede Farm, plus a continuation toward Giant for a much larger outing. The Mossy Cascade Trail is steep for its size and begins with a Crystal Brook crossing, while the Beede Farm approaches use private lanes before reaching the trail system. Hopkins is a strong choice when hikers want summit views without committing to a full High Peak.
