Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Little Woodhull Lake offers a low-profile backcountry pond hike in the Black River Wild Forest and North Lake Conservation Easement area. The route begins from North Lake Road and follows Little Woodhull Trail through quiet rolling forest, with the lake reached by a side path from the marked trail. Little Woodhull Trail continues beyond the lake toward the Sand Lake Falls Trail, while the listed lake hike uses the shorter out-and-back profile. Expect a remote, lightly maintained feel rather than a polished front-country trail.
