Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Lost Pond is a shorter Pharaoh Lake Wilderness pond hike accessed from Putnam Pond Road before the campground entrance. The route heads southeast through forest toward a small pond, with modest elevation change and wet areas where bog bridging may be present. It is a good low-key alternative to busier Pharaoh Lake Wilderness hikes and works well for hikers seeking a simple pond destination rather than a summit or long loop. The hike is moderate mainly because of wet terrain, roots, and ordinary Adirondack footing.
