Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Moose Mountain Pond offers a longer pond objective in Hammond Pond Wild Forest without the steepness of a major summit hike. The 7.0-mile round-trip approach uses the Berrymill Flow and Moose Mountain Pond trail connection, following old road-style grades, water, beaver-influenced terrain, campsites, and eventually Moose Mountain Pond. The experience is moderate mostly because of distance and junction navigation, while the grade is generally friendlier than many mountain climbs.
