Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Moss Lake is a mellow loop hike and recreation area off Big Moose Road near Inlet. The main circuit stays mostly flat as it travels through Fulton Chain Wild Forest, passes accessible campsites, crosses small bridges, and occasionally returns close to the lakeshore. A short direct path reaches the lake from the main parking area for hikers who only want a quick water view. The full loop works well for hiking, picnicking, birding, paddling access, horseback riding, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing.
