Trail Overview
Mount Arab Fire Tower is a short and popular fire tower hike west of Tupper Lake, often used as a family-friendly summit, Fire Tower Challenge stop, or Tupper Lake Triad objective. The trail climbs steadily from Mount Arab Road through forest to an open summit area with the restored tower and observer’s cabin. The hike is brief, but the fire tower gives it a much larger scenic payoff, with views toward Tupper Lake, nearby water, and the northern Adirondacks. nearby.
