Trail Overview
Round Lake is a quiet water-focused destination in the Round Lake Wilderness, near the Little Tupper Lake and William C. Whitney area. The hiking route commonly appears as the Round Lake Trail or Hedgehog Pond Trail, beginning near Sabattis Circle Road and following easement and wilderness trail toward Round Lake. The route runs about 2.1 miles one way to the shoreline, making the standard out-and-back about 4.2 miles round trip.
