Route Guidance
Trail Overview
This Round Pond is the High Peaks Wilderness pond reached from Route 73, not the Pharaoh Lake Wilderness destination of the same name. The pond works as a short objective on its own and also as an early landmark on the Dix Mountain route from the Round Pond / Dix Mountain trailhead. The route reaches the pond quickly before continuing around the shoreline and climbing toward the Old Dix Trail junction.
