Trail Overview
Shallow Lake is a remote water-focused hike in the Pigeon Lake Wilderness, notable as the largest lake in the unit. Access can come from Brown Tract Pond Campground or from Uncas Road, making the destination more of a wilderness lake outing than a quick roadside pond stop.
