Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Sis and Bubb Lakes is a pleasant Fulton Chain Wild Forest hike near Inlet with a bigger payoff than its modest distance suggests. From the Route 28 trailhead, the trail climbs over the shoulder of Vista Ridge before descending toward the drainage between the lakes. A footbridge, lake openings, and the viewpoint along the northeast shore of Bubb Lake give the route its main character. The hike can also connect into the Moss Lake Loop, making it useful for hikers who want a flexible lake and woods outing.
