Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Stagg Brook Falls is a compact waterfall hike at Whiteface Mountain Ski Center, best used as a short warm-weather outing rather than a full mountain climb. The lower route starts near the Base Lodge area and follows Stagg Brook past a waterfall, small pools, cascades, and ski-area edges. Whiteface’s own hiking information separates the lower and upper falls sections, while regional and trail descriptions describe a longer combined outing of about 1.2 to 1.3 miles round trip. The experience is scenic, family-friendly in feel, and more about water features than summit mileage.
