Trail Overview
Stone Dam Pond is a low-profile Black River Wild Forest pond destination reached from the North Lake Road side on the Stone Dam Trail. The yellow-marked Stone Dam Trail runs from the Stone Dam Trailhead to the Chub Pond Trail, with a quiet lake or pond objective and a scenic Little Woodhull Creek crossing along the way. This is not a high-view hike; its value is the quiet forest travel, small-water destination, and connection into the broader Chub Pond and Black River trail network.
