Route Guidance
Trail Overview
The Ledges refers to the Ledges Trail in Titusville Mountain State Forest near Malone. It is short on mileage but climbs sharply enough to feel more demanding than a casual walk, with rocky footing, secluded forest, and a viewpoint that hikers may need to seek slightly away from the immediate summit area. Public trail data lists it as a 1.3-mile out-and-back with 662 feet of elevation gain. Recent hiker feedback describes the route as lightly used, sometimes hard to follow, steep and rocky in spots, and potentially slippery on the ledges.
