Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Tooley Pond Mountain is a compact hike off Tooley Pond Road in the Grass River Wild Forest, useful for hikers who want a quick summit rather than a long backcountry route. The route climbs through mixed forest to a partly wooded summit clearing where an old fire tower once stood. Views are limited but still open enough to look across Tooley Pond and the surrounding western Adirondack forest. It can be approached as a short loop using the east and west trails, with a brief road walk between parking areas if completing the loop.
