Trail Overview
Upper Sargent Pond is a peaceful destination in the Sargent Ponds Wild Forest trail network, reached from the Upper Sargent Pond trailhead on North Point Road. The direct Upper Sargent Pond Trail runs 1.4 miles to the pond and has a primitive campsite at the shore. The pond can also connect to Lower Sargent Pond by the 1.5-mile Upper-Lower Pond Trail, giving hikers the option to visit one pond or build a longer loop using the broader Sargent Ponds system. The experience is a quiet forest walk to water, best suited to hikers seeking solitude rather than big summit views.
