Blue Mountain (6/14)
Blue Mountain was in stellar condition today. A little under five Adirondack miles out and back with about 1600 ft in elevation gain. Minimal mud, but bugs were borderline insufferable at the summit only. A great “bang for your buck” mountain.

I love to hear about the not-quite high peaks! We know so much less about them, and they give us so much more to explore. While you're in the area, I highly recommend visiting the Adirondack Experience at Blue Mountain Lake Museum. Definitely one of the best museums ever--so much to see on a beautiful campus.
