Dix Range 6/21
Had an incredible day in the Dix Range! The weather was absolutely perfect, cool temps in the early morning and heated up throughout the rest of the day,
best of all clear skies! We started at 4:45am from the Elk Lake lot and made it back by 2:15pm. 7.5 hours moving time with 1.5 hours on summits and a half hour of breaks on trail. We spent a good amount of time on the summit of Dix but the bugs and flies were relentless! Couldn’t have asked for a better day! 37/46

Honestly there’s no better feeling than coming off of the range back to your car by early afternoon. Good stuff!
