Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Seymour Mountain is the separate fourth High Peak of the Seward area, reached from Coreys Road by the Ward Brook approach and an unmarked herd path. It is often done separately from Seward, Donaldson, and Emmons because it is its own long remote objective.
Access
Primary Seward Range hub. Verify parking lot/trailhead coordinate. Signed roadside lot on the north side of NY-3; fills early on busy days.
Cautions
Seymour requires a long approach and unmarked herd-path climbing. Mud, steep footing, and the long exit to Coreys Road can make the descent and return slower than expected.
