Trail Overview
South Dix is a central connector in the Dix Range, commonly crossed between Macomb, Hough, and Grace. Its summit is often part of a larger range strategy rather than a destination people plan in isolation.
Access
Primary southern Dix Range access. Seasonal access notes needed.
Cautions
South Dix sits inside a larger herd-path and ridge system. Route-finding, steep side trails, weather, and the remaining distance to exit all matter when deciding whether to continue.
