Route Guidance
Trail Overview
Wright Peak is the first major summit on the MacIntyre Range route from Adirondack Loj, reached by a short but steep side trail before the final climb to Algonquin. It is often paired with Algonquin and Iroquois, but it still has exposed summit terrain and serious weather.
Access
Adirondack Loj / HPIC is a paid, high-use High Peaks gateway; the lot often fills early on busy days.
Cautions
Wright’s summit is exposed and can be windy, icy, or socked in even when lower trail conditions are manageable. Do not treat it as an easy add-on in poor weather.
